Virgil on Alfie soundtrack

For many of the "Virgil can't play anything but sick prog fusion" guys over here it may be a pleasant surprise to check out the new "Alfie" soundtrack by Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart. Virgil plays 4 tracks on that, and especially "Counting The Days" might turn a few heads. I and many others have seen and heard Virgil do this many times over the years, but for the ones just familiar with his recent fusion landmarks it might be worth a listen. So this is what Virg did with Jagger for 9 hours! I was at the Spud seeing CAB and Virg runs in last minute. He plays the set and then at the first break explains he was in a session w/Mick for over 9 hours and just ran over to play with CAB. Of course, he killed the CAB set. The guy's in freakish physical condition.
